Hi Team! I'm Sabra (sarb-ra), a twenty something foodie, health nut and pilates enthusiast. Whilst completing a degree in Journalism and Fashion right out of high school, because who didn't want to be Carrie Bradshaw at age 17, I discovered that my love for good food and an active lifestyle was where my real passion laid.
So one degree finished and another started with me completing an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine followed by a Bachelor in Nutrition. Whilst studying my weekends away, and using my degree as an excuse to go out for brunch every other day, I started attending pilates classes to give my brain a break and attempt to keep my chair moulded butt in shape.
Soon after, pilates tightened it's T-Zone, drew its ribs to its hips and curled its way up into my heart alongside my love for ALL the food. Determined to bring these two loves together, I enrolled to complete my international mat pilates instructor training.
And so here we are, Fortitude Health and Wellness, where I hope to educate and inspire you on how best to fuel your body to suit your individual needs - and how to squeeze in a workout to help stretch those tired limbs, perk up that peach and start uncovering those sneaky abs.
